Epiphany
We're allowed to feel our emotions.
Epiphanies are a bit uncalled for….
You could be sitting on your desk in the office, working your ass off, sitting in front of the TV on a couch or maybe cooking your favorite meal in a hurry, when out of nowhere you snap out of it and into a whole different trance and have that familiar feeling in your conscious where you put it all together.
It's like the click of a lock on your cabin bag after you punch in the correct code.
It took me observing a little kid to understand that sometimes you just need to feel your emotions. Not give it a name, not wonder why it's happening, not bother who is staring at you while you tremble, cry, or even laugh:
Just let the emotions run its course through the veins because once it has rained the grey clouds are bound to go away.
What's the worse that could happen? You'll cry in a room full of strangers? You'll scream loudly because you're that happy? Or owing to the kid within you, you might let yourself feel your emotions once in a while.
It took me 22 years to understand a simple fact that should've been an instinct.
I am allowed to feel my emotions.
And it's probably going to take a couple more years to learn how I could navigate around my emotions.
Till then, I'm going to breathe in, breathe out, close my eyes, and feel. Would you care to join?
